Raingler Net Installation for

I spent a couple weeks bouncing back and forth through email with Eddie
at Raingler.com asking
about a net for the KJ. He didn't have one made yet, but
asked if I could get him some measurements.
I took down the measurements and sent them to him. Once I
ordered the net, it took 2 days to get to my house in TX.
Construction is Absolute quality. Very strong with good seam
stitching throughout. |
 |
| Strung out on the floor there were 3 pieces. The two
separate straps I am told go down to the seat pivot positions (pictured
below). I took a little creative licensing and put them
elsewhere for my needs. |
 |
| First order of business was to cut out the openings in my
Husky Floor liner. I had been meaning to do this anyway so I
could access the tie downs on the floor.
So with a Utility knife, I started cutting out the already
present indentations. |

 |
| Like I said, I took a little creative licensing and
utilized the seat back tie points instead of the floor points under the
seat. The Floor liner doesn't give you as straight a shot as I
like and I didn't want to deform how the floor liner fit.
Of course with the seats down, I would have to find alternative
points, but for a majority of what I need the net for, this
will do great. |
 |
| To load your cargo, I took loose the rear straps and
loosened the front ones. I laid the net over the back of the seat
and loaded what I needed.
The yellow points are possible other points I would consider
connecting the strap to. I wish there was something along the back
side wall at about the same height.

 |
| I work for a Construction company and haul computers all
over the place to various jobsites. This net is the ONLY
thing available. Dealerships and everyone else has those flimsy
stretchy nets that are called 'V' nets which only help you out
holding stuff like jackets and the like. If you have something
with alot of mass to hold down, you need something stout like the
Raingler net.
Once it is strapped down and tightened, my cargo can't move at
all. I can't even push on it to get it to move unless I
loosen some straps. Perfect for that bumpy ride over the
construction site to the job trailer and also perfect for wheelin'.

Quality construction and Quality materials. That is all you
have to say about Raingler Nets. They will hold down your
stuff protecting it and your vehicle at the same time. Not to
mention back seat passengers.
Eddie has a great product with the Raingler series of
Nets. He also has other products as well. Check out his
website linked below.
He'll also make you a custom net to your specifications. |
