This is pretty much it in a nutshell. Just think of a rectangle instead of the odd contours on the left side.

The picture of the tractor on the left is a John Deere 'B'. Our tractor is similar to this one. Ours is a 1947 model which looks identical to this one with the exception of the seat. The 1947 model has a "roll-a-matic" front axle where the front wheels move in tandom in opposite directions over uneven terrain.
