Piper Pawnee Pictures

By Akulakat
I've seen all your cool pilots. I can't have an empty seat. I went and picked up the Ken doll at Target for $5. While I was there, I grabbed a $5 Barbie as well. Ken won't fit without major Butt sanding. Even then, cutting out some seat, butt grinding, etc, he sits a little high in the saddle for my taste.
So I broke out the Barbie in her 2 piece swimsuit, stole Ken's clothes and put on her. 'Tailored them to fit her better using CA.
I really like the height that she sits in the plane. I think she'll do just fine as a pilot. Better looking than Ken anyway

4/5/08 - Maiden flight.   Engine never powered up much past 1/2 power.  took off anyway.  Lazy takeoff,  climbed easily,  Slow flying,  easy to control.  Absolutely no trim needed whatsoever.   I think 'in cowl' tuning will be different that 'cowl off' tuning.   Engine died after 2 minutes and dead sticked.  This plane is a floater.

Right as I took this, the tail rose in the air and a 13 inch propellor became a 12 1/2 inch propellor in seconds.
